Signs of Spring

Despite the pile of snow in the background, it's a balmy 40 degrees
and the kids're playing in the mud.

I'm perched on a tiny stool soaking up the sun while planning my seed
order for our summer vegetable garden. And I'm not even wearing a
jacket, my L.A. compadres! Who'd a thunk it?

I adore being back in touch with the seasons.

Now the kids are jumping in puddles. Life is good.
